The dioceses of the Principality of Monaco and the Republic of Moldavia are the new members of the Council of European Bishops Conferences (Ccee) Fatima, 6 October 2007 The presidents of the European Bishops Conferences that met in Fatima from 3rd to 7th October have accepted the membership of the archdiocese of the Principality of Monaco (France) and the only Catholic diocese of the Republic of Moldavia in the Council of European Bishops Conferences (Ccee). So, the Council of European Bishops Conferences now counts 36 members, which include: Albania, Austria, Belgium, Bosnia Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Russian Federation; France; Germany; Greece; England and Wales; Ireland; Italy; Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Portugal, Republic of Belarus; Czech Republic; Republic of Moldavia; Principality of Monaco; Poland; Romania, Scotland, Serbia-Montenegro-FYROM-Kosovo (International Bishops Conference of Saints Cyril and Methodius), Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden-Norway-Denmark-Finland-Iceland (Bishops Conference of the Scandinavian Countries), Switzerland, Turkey, Ukraine (2 Conferences: Conferences of the Bishops of Latin Rite Synod of the Greek-Catholic Bishops), Hungary.
