"The Job Days are a sign of the EU growth and employment strategy", which relies on two lines of action: "encouraging job mobility in Europe and supporting growth". Vladimír pidla, commissioner for employment and equal opportunities, presents the event named European Job Days 2007, which is starting today and will go on until 29th September, with 500 happenings in 230 cities of the 27 EU member states. "The Job Days adds the Czech Commissioner help employers fill their vacancies and help unemployed people find a job". The planned happenings, which involve local companies, public and private job services, trade unions, universities, training centres, Chambers of Commerce, "aim at informing people about the existing options for moving for work reasons within the EU and offer a chance to companies and people looking for direct employment". The Job Days are organised "in cooperation with the European Employment Service Eures, the network of which includes 750 job mobility advisors. (continued)
