Lorenzo Leuzzi, secretary of the Commission for Catechesis, School, University of Ccee (Council of European Bishops Conferences), as he opened the European Meeting of the National Delegates of the University Pastoral, hosted by the Croatian capital from today to next Sunday. Mgr. Leuzzi quoted a few passages from Benedict XVI’s speech to the university lecturers that he held during their European Meeting in Rome last June. "First and foremost, the need of an exhaustive investigation of the crisis of modernity", he highlighted. "That is, keeping alive, within the university culture, the issue of the relationship between theism and new humanism, which over the last few years has started to look less of an aggressive opposition".
