"With this initiative, we wish to bring the Pope’s visit on to everyone’s computers, so that they can watch it everywhere, during their lunch breaks, at school, at work. It will actually be a unique event, to be carefully followed", stated Joe Larson, Digital Media director for Usccb. The website will contain all the details of the Pope’s visit, events and statistics on the US Church, as well as multimedia files that contain, for instance, Benedict XVI’s video-message to the United States. The website was made possible by the offerings given by the devotees during the yearly Catholic campaign for communication.
