Hence the Pope’s wish "that the ranks of those who decide to totally experience the Gospel through the vows of celibacy, poverty and obedience may become bigger and bigger”, because "they are men and women who play a leading role in evangelisation”. Of them, "some recalled Benedict XVI devote themselves to contemplation and prayer, others to a multiform educational and charitable action, but all of them share the same purpose: testifying God’s primacy over everything and disseminating His kingdom in every sphere of society”, “resourceful”, “generous” men and women, whose apostolate is "often marked by a uniqueness, a genius that cannot but be admired", who are always in "the forefront of the mission”, ready to take "the greatest risks for their health and even for their life”. “Finally, one should not forget concluded the Pontiff that the call to Christian marriage is a missionary call itself: the bride and groom are actually called to experience the Gospel in the families, in the workplace, in the parish and civilian communities. In addition, they sometimes offer their precious help in the mission ad gentes”.
