ABORTION: ENGLAND, PRO-LIFE MOVEMENTS: "PRO-ABORTION CULTURE PERVADING THE MEDICAL PROFESSION"

The British pro-life movement has welcomed the voting statements of the Tory leader David Cameron, who said he will support the reduction to 20 weeks (as opposed to the current 24) of the term before which one can have a termination. The announcement came in the run-up to the Parliamentary discussion, in a few weeks’ time, of the act on in vitro fertilisation and embryo cell tests, that will be re-submitted to the House of Commons after the Lords’ approval. The pro-life movements will propose a few amendments that aim at reducing the abortion limit. "In Great Britain – states to SIR Julia Millington, spokeswoman for "Pro-life Alliance", one of the associations of the pro-life movements –, in one hospital a child is aborted, while in another hospital a premature child is saved. It is ridiculous. There’s strong public consensus about reducing the legal limit for termination". (continued)
