According to the general manager of the Vatican Radio Station, "special attention must be paid to the protection of democracy and the constitutional state, and the international standards in the respect of the rights of minorities and of all the population, regardless of ethnic groups, religions, language or nationality, must be applied to Kosovo as well, and measures must be taken to protect the precious artistic and cultural heritage of Christianity. Stability in the region will have to be promoted with every effort, and therefore any contributions from the international community will be welcome.
