Card. Paul Poupard, emeritus president of the Papal Council of Culture, and Msgr. Brian Farrell, secretary of the Papal Council for the Promotion of Christian Unity, arrived in Athens yesterday afternoon. They were received at the airport and then accompanied to the cathedral, where they prayed "in the name of the Holy Father" at the corpse of S.B. Christodoulos. It was made known by the Papal Council for the Promotion of Christian Unity today. The State funeral of the archbishop of Athens has been going on in Athens from 10 am. Card. Poupard and Msgr. Farrel, together with Apostolic Nuncio Msgr. Patrick Coveney, are part of the Holy See delegation for the funeral. They brought along the grief message which last Tuesday the Holy Father had sent to Seraphim, metropolitan of Karystia and Skyros.
