"There have been regular contacts with priests and bishops of the two communities continues the Fides agency to plan the Easter celebrations: there were no such contacts or initiatives before the publication of the Letter. Priests or nuns of one group guiding the spiritual retreats for the devotees of the other group. Accusations that the Sacraments of one group were not applicable or even useless have virtually disappeared, there have been cases where the devotees of the two communities have gathered together for their morning and evening prayers". In some dioceses, highlights Fides, "the subject of reconciliation has become the underlying motif of all the pastoral. In five villages in Mongolia, the nuns that were not recognised by the government have been invited to take part in the liturgical celebrations of the government-recognised community". However, "along with these good points explains Fides , there have been of course some resistances to and difficulties with the Pope’s Letter, as proven by the many enquiries received by Rome. But we can say however that the Letter has caused an epoch-making change in the life of the Catholic community".
