"My confidence stated mgr. Fouad Twal feeds on all the spiritual, human and ecclesial riches of this diocese": the presence of "many religious orders and congregations, which support us with their prayers, enrich us with their own charismas", of so many "people who love this Church of God", of the "priests, full of apostolic zeal, of brotherly love and pastoral care". Then, mgr. Twal made "an appeal to the heads of the conflicting nations": "Fear God and pity your people, the young, the children, the old. Have the courage to find fair solutions, so that we all can live in peace and security". Then, an appeal to the international community, that, "driven by a sense of responsibility, courage and justice, it may help the peoples of the region to take the right decisions". "We are sure peace is possible, justice is possible, mutual trust is possible", concluded the Patriarch: "The last word of our history will not be left to hatred, to separations or violence. Christ has resurrected and has triumphed. Love is stronger!".
