“Evangelising in the web 2.0″ is the question that is being discussed by the XIII meeting of Ecic, the association of European Christian webmasters, ending tomorrow June 17th in Lyons (since 13th). The over 50 participants, from the Lutheran and reformed Churches of northern Europe to the Catholic and Anglican Churches, have exchanged opinions about pastoral projects conveyed through the web and on the challenge thrown to evangelisation by the quick changes in the Internet and the new communication technology. ” Ecic’s decision to give priority to the sharing principle promotes a climate of real participation and mutual encouragement, so as to be able to redefine oneself in the responsibility of the announcement of the Gospel.
