On Sunday 22nd June, in the Basilica of the Holy Sepulchre, the new Latin Patriarch of Jerusalem, mgr. Fuad Twal, so far the archbishop coadjutor of the Latin Patriarchate, will make his entrance. The news has been relayed today by the Patriarchate, which sent out the calendar of ceremonies: "On Monday 23rd June, the new Patriarch will celebrate his first Pontifical Mass at the Holy Sepulchre, the day after he will celebrate the ordination of a deacon in the parish church of the Holy Family in Ramallah, while on June 25th he will make his solemn entrance in the basilica of Nativity in Bethlehem". The scheduled ceremonies will be preceded on Saturday 21st June by a thanksgiving Mass, which will be officiated by the resigning Patriarch, Michel Sabbah, in the basilica of Gethsemane.
