The World Youth Day 2011 will be celebrated in Madrid – as announced by Benedict XVI after the final Mass in Sydney from 15th to 21st August. It was made known by the Youth Pastoral Office of the Spanish Bishops’ Conference a short time ago. "Probably it is written in the note by the Office, the Pope will be starting his apostolic journey to Spain one week earlier, on 8th August".
