His Holiness Karekin II, Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of all Armenians, too attended the general audience this morning in Saint Peter’s Square, in Rome. Arrived in Rome with a delegation, this afternoon the Patriarch will go to the Salesian Papal University to be given an honorary degree by the faculty of youth pastoral theology. The ceremony will be opened by the address of the Vatican secretary of State, card. Tarcisio Bertone, and by the Head of the University, Mario Toso. The "Laudatio" for His Holiness will instead be given by card. Walter Kasper, president of the Papal Council for the promotion of the unity of Christians. After taking his degree, the Patriarch will give a lecture.
