Hundreds of immigrants from Africa (Nigeria), Latin America (Ecuador, Bolivia, Colombia) and Europe (Romania, Ukraine) will take part on Holy Friday in the Way of the Cross of the migrant, organised by the diocesan Caritas of Valencia (Spain), in the old bed of the river Turia. The devotees, holding lit candles, "will sing, pray and meditate on the phenomenon of migration at each one of the 14 stations" of the Way of the Cross, explained, to the agency "Avan", Edison López, deputy director of the program of Pastoral and social care for immigrants of the diocesan Caritas. Along the way, some immigrants will carry on their shoulders an image of the Christ of Faith dating back to the XVII century, a life-size image that is venerated in the parish of Santa Monica. The way swill start from the Ademuz bridge and will end in the parish church of El Salvador and Santa Monica, where the devotees will attend the traditional Adoration of the Cross that is celebrated on Holy Friday.
