Théodore-Adrien Sarr, archbishop of Dakar (Senegal) and deputy president of Secam (Symposium of the Bishops Conferences of Africa and Madagascar), as he opened the workshop promoted along with Ccee (Council of European bishops Conferences) about "Migration, a new space for evangelisation and solidarity", which will last until November 23rd. The archbishop of Dakar said that evangelisation in Africa means "bringing the Gospel to all men, as well as trying to ward off all the crises that prevent man being truly happy and that are often the source of migratory flows". "Africa is upset, of course it is he said , but what nation, in its history, has never been upset by any crisis or conflict that has undermined its unity, its independence, its very existence?".
