"More than 2,000 young people from Spain will attend the Youth Ministry Forum in the Municipal Congress Palace of Madrid from 7 to 9 November. The initiative was launched by the Piarist to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Youth Ministry Magazine. Many congregations and institutions have joined the cause, including the Spanish Bishops’ Conference, for a total of more than 200 institutions and 100 volunteers. For three days, young people will analyse the actual status of youth ministry in Spain and its perspectives for the future. The idea is to share experiences to boost evangelization and begin a new journey together, which will be pursued in the so-called “Post-Forum” period. The Forum’s aim is to coordinate all the youth ministers in Spain and to find answers on how to live the faith in the XXI century in a young environment. According to the organisers, today we need new means so that the young people could receive and live their faith as a value in their personal development. For more than one year and a half, a group of more than 150 people (presbyters, lay and religious people) has been working on this project.
