"Peace in justice" for the Holy Land, Lebanon, Iraq and India. The major Catholic archbishops and Patriarchs in the Orient who participate in the assembly of the Synod of Bishops (Vatican, 5-26 October) ask for it through an appeal given today to Benedict XVI and published in today’s number of "L’Osservatore Romano". "We are deeply grateful to the Pope wrote the Patriarchs and the archbishops for having always emphasized, promptly and relentlessly, the supplication to God and the voice in favour of our brothers and sisters of the Orient.
