However, pointed out Msgr. Ravasi during the press conference, the Bible "is also the eternal and divine Word. For this reason, another understanding is necessary, provided by the Holy Spirit, which reveals the transcendent dimension of the divine Word in human words". Therefore, here is the "necessity to recall" the "vivid Tradition of the Church" and of the faith, "to understand the Holy Scriptures in a unitary and full way". Thus, Msgr. Ravasi invited us "to interlink exegetic knowledge with theological and spiritual tradition indissolubly", because it is explained in the message "the human and divine unity of Jesus in the Scriptures must not be broken".
