"Definitely, it is not a Nobel prize awarded in the direction of forgotten conflicts. It rather looks like a slap in the face of Russia at a very special time for Kosovo". Those words were spoken by geopolitical expert Francesco Strazzari, researcher of the "Istituto Superiore S. Anna" of Pisa, and one of the researchers of Italian Caritas on "forgotten conflicts". Strazzari commented for SIR the awarding of the Nobel Peace Prize to Finnish diplomat Martti Kalevi Ahtisaari, famous for his mediations in Kosovo, Indonesia, Namibia, etc..
