(From our correspondent SirEuropa in Esztergom Hungary) – An appeal to the European governments and institutions to "do anything" to stop violence against Christians in India and "open the doors" to the religious minorities in Iraq who are leaving their country: it was made today by the presidents of the European Bishops Conferences (Ccee), gathered these days in Esztergom, Hungary. "We are worried about the news about what is going on in Orissa (India) they highlight , where last Tuesday another Christian woman was killed and another 300 houses were burned down. We express our sympathy with the Christians of the country and with their Pastors and ask the European Governments and Institutions to do anything to stop such violence that, as far as we know, has caused 60 deaths, thousands of injured people, and dozens of thousands of people leaving the country since August 23rd".
