” ” The university pastoral national delegates of European countries are meeting in Bucharest (Romania) from next September 26th to 28th. The participants in the annual European meeting will probably be about seventy. The meeting was set up by the Council of the Bishops’ Conferences of Europe (CCEE). For the first time, apart from the delegates of the different bishop conferences, there will also be the representatives of ecclesial movements and associations linked with the university pastoral. The works will be opened by a report on the situation in Romania, by Father Iosif Tiba (university pastoral national delegate of the Rumanian Bishops’ Conference) and Father Csapai Arpad (university chaplain of the Alba Iulia diocese); the presentation of the works by Msgr. Lorenzo Leuzzi will follow (secretary of Commission for catechesis, school and university of CCEE). In particular, he will concentrate on the VII European Day of university students (Rome, 14 March 2009), on the occasion pf the Pauline jubilee of university students (12 – 15 March 2009), and the European meeting of university students (27 July – 2 August 2009). Father Enrico Dal Covolo from the Papal Lateran University is speaking on Saturday morning; then, the participants will go on with the works by geographical areas.
