The peak of the Parisian visit will be the celebration of Mass on the Esplanade des Invalides on Saturday 13th, where 200 thousand people are expected to come. Mass will be jointly celebrated with the Pope by about sixty French bishops and cardinals and about 1,500 priests. Mass will mark the end of the visit to Paris: the Pope will leave in the afternoon for Lourdes where he will become a pilgrim and will cover the "Jubilee trail", that has been proposed by the Sanctuary to the visitors this year, to pray along the steps of Saint Bernadette’s life. At 10 am on Sunday 14th, the Pope will officiate Mass for the 150th anniversary of the Apparitions, after which he will meet the French bishops. On Monday 15th before leaving for Rome, the Holy Father will celebrate Mass during which he will give the Last Rites to about ten sick people.
