” “The Holy Masses of 14 and 15 August 2005 reads the press release circulated today by the Social Communications Office of the Italian Bishops’ Conference will be broadcast live by RAI from Cologne (on RaiUno at 10.55 on Sunday 14 and Monday 15 August, Feast-day of Our Lady of the Assumption). The celebrations will take place in the parish dedicated to Our Lady of the Assumption, in the centre of the town, a point of reference for the Italians in Cologne. The Holy Mass of the 14th , which is addressed in particular to the Italian community living in Germany, will be presided over by Father Gildo Baggio, responsible for the Italian Catholic Mission in Cologne. On the following day, 15th August, Msgr. Giuseppe Betori, Secretary General of the Italian Bishops’ Conference, will preside over the celebration of the Eucharist with the Italian youth and volunteers.
