An engagement taken on in the first person, as young Christians, to believe in peace and "reject and fight against all forms of fundamentalism and extremism": this is the content of the Peace Message that 5 youth from the five continents signed and announced yesterday afternoon in Munster, the town of the "Peace of Westphalia", within the framework of the celebrations titled "Welcome World". In the message the youth take the commitment of "constantly asking God to give them the strength to make efforts for peace". "I myself reads the text will always try to live in peace with others. I will do all I can to make sure that people may live in dignity and mutual respect. I will be an example of justice, peace ad preservation of God’s creation. I will respect other religions, cultures and languages". The message was exposed in the Cathedral and signed by all the youth who had gathered there for this celebration.
