Direct line to the Pope: it is possible to address your own emotions and thoughts on the World Youth Day and on the Church to Pope Benedict XVI from 16th to 21st August, thanks to Radio-culture, a Westdeutscher Rundfunk (WDR) radio broadcast, which will set up a booth with an open microphone in Cologne’s Wallrafplatz. The WYD Press Office informed that by this initiative young catholics from all over the world are invited to express their opinions, concerns, wishes and hopes concerning the Church amd the community. All the comments will be recorded, assessed and broadcast on air every day on WDR 3 in the broadcasts "Mosaik", from Tuesday 16th to Friday 19th starting from 6.05 am until 9 am, and "Resonanzen", on the same days from 5.05 pm until 7.45pm. In addition to the daily broadcast, WDR intends bringing together all the comments into one collage programme of 1 hour to show what the faithful think of current society. The fourth Sunday of Advent, 18th December 2005, at 3.05 pm, WDR will broadcast this collage programme to the whole of Germany and will also send it personally to the Pope.
