They are here, in Cologne, also to pray "for peace and hope for the Iraqi people for a future with no war": 20 young Iraqis, including 2 priests, coming directly from Baghdad, and the children of immigrants living in Germany, are among the pilgrims who over these days are visiting the relics of the three Wise Men in the Cathedral of Cologne, filling up the square and the streets all around. Their red and white flag with green Arab words on it is not going unnoticed amidst the crowd. Paulus Sati, 26, a seminarian in Würzburg, speaks of the "sad and hard" situation the Iraqis are going through. He hopes the young people gathered in Cologne these days "will pray for the war to end". Near him stands a young student, who has been living in Munich for 6 years, the child of Iraqi refugees. As well as his native language, he speaks German. The few English words he says are "peace" and "no war".
