After the closing mass of the xx WYD, the pilgrims are making their way back home in an orderly and quite manner, singing and waving the flags of their native countries. The volunteers show the way out to the parking lots, where the coaches will be waiting for them. The organisers in the meantime are asking the young to stay on the esplanade of Marienfeld, where a few artists will perform in some live shows. Some pilgrims are following the advice and while packing their rucksacks they are also picking up the garbage.
