"Strengthening the bonds that unite us and concretely showing that all Christianity is concerned about the life of Christians in Jerusalem and in the Holy Land". According to father Pierre Grech, secretary general of the Conference of Latin Bishops in the Arab regions (Celra), this is the goal of the meeting of the delegations of bishops from the Council of European and US Bishops Conferences (Ccee) that will open in the Holy Land tomorrow (until January 19th). "This year told Father Grech to SIR the delegation composed of about thirty bishops will also go to Jordan, and it is the first time this happens, to meet the local communities and maybe meet King Abdullah". In addition, the visit falls at "a delicate time in the Israeli and Palestinian political life, and it is important to feel that as Christians we are not alone. We must not forget Jerusalem".
