The 4th National Ecclesial meeting is going to open this afternoon in Verona. It will open at 4 pm with a Mass celebrated in the Arena by mgr. Flavio Roberto Carraro, bishop of Verona. The welcome address of the mayor of Verona, Paolo Zanotto, will be followed at 6 pm by the opening speech of the archbishop of Milan, card. Dionigi Tettamanzi, president of the Preparatory Committee of the Meeting. Afterwards, a concert of the orchestra and choir of Fondazione Arena di Verona. To end the day, in the cathedral of Verona young people coordinated by mgr. Paolo Giulietti, manager of the national service for the young pastoral, will hold a vigil, "Regenerated by the Resurrection of Jesus Christ", due from 9 pm to midnight, celebrated by mgr. Francesco Lambiasi, deputy president of the Preparatory committee of the IV Ecclesial meeting. Eucharistic adoration will go on from midnight all through the night at Saint John’s Baptistery
