EUROPE: POLITICAL STABILITY IN THE BALKANS AND THE LANDING OF IMMIGRANTS ON THE AGENDA OF THE CoE ASSEMBLY

” “The political situation in the Balkans, the relentless landings of immigrants on the Mediterranean coasts, the Kurdish issue, will be the main points on the agenda of the autumn session of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe, scheduled from today through the end of the week, at the premises of the organisation in Strasbourg. In particular, at the session of Tuesday 3rd October, speeches will be delivered by the president on duty of Bosnia-Herzegovina, Sulejman Tihic, the president of Serbia, Boris Tadic, and the prime ministers of Albania (Sali Berisha) and Croatia (Ivo Sanader).
