"This meeting with Benedict XVI will have significant developments, I hope, in the area of the inter-Christian relations between the Catholic Church and the Orthodox Church". This was said today by the archbishop of Athens and all Greece, Christodoulos, at a lunch offered in his honour by the ambassador of Greece to Italy, Anastase Mitsialis. "It will certainly contribute to reconciliation, will strengthen mutual understanding and will help, as far as possible, to correct the mistakes of the past, dispel any misunderstanding, and will help the dialogue started by the Christian Churches to move in the right direction".
