” “On Friday March 3rd, Benedict XVI will visit the Vatican Radio Station (Rv), at its headquarters of Palazzo Pio. Father Federico Lombardi, General Manager of RV, said this morning “it will be the most important time of the celebrations for the 75th anniversary of the Pope’s radio”. During the press conference promoted to celebrate this anniversary, father Lombardi explained that “Benedict XVI immediately accepted the invitation, and his visit to the radio will be a travelling one. Since at our headquarters in Palazzo Pio there’s no appropriate place to receive the about 400 employees, the Pope will walk through the corridors, the offices, the recording studios to meet the operators who work there, through to Sala Marconi where he will give a speech”.
