TO VERONA: WWW.CONVEGNOVERONA.IT. THE WEBSITE OF THE 4TH NATIONAL CHURCH MEETING ONLINE TOMORROW

The website of the 4th National Church meeting will be on line tomorrow, February 24th 2006, at www.convegnoverona.it, providing news about the meeting that will be held in Verona from 16th to 20th October 2006 about "Witnesses of Christ Resurrected, the hope of the world". The website will be presented at a workshop that will be held in Rome on February 24th and 25th 2006, on the resolve of the Preparatory Committee of the meeting. The website contains a diary, the events, the Lead to reflection, news, interviews and in-depth information on all the stages that are being covered, on a national and local scale, in the run-up to the Verona’s meeting. In addition, there’s a possibility to listen to the anthem, view the logo of the Church meeting and find the address of the bishop of Verona, mgr. Flavio Roberto Carraro, and consult the biographies of some local witnesses of hope. The website uses some of the materials (texts, videos, forms) which are contained in the multimedia DVD, which from tomorrow will be made available to the delegates of the Church meeting and will soon be available in all Italian Catholic bookshops. Links to Catholic media are not missing either. The workshop, during which the website will be presented, will be chaired by card. Dionigi Tettamanzi, archbishop of Milan, and will investigate the five areas that have been outlined by the Lead to reflection. Luigi Alici, national president of the Italian Catholic Action movement, wil deal with emotional life, while Edoardo Patriarca, spokesman of the Third-Sector Forum, will linger on "working and partying". "Creatural fragility" will be discussed by Paola Binetti, president of Scienza & Vita. Mgr. Gianni Ambrosio, general church assistant at Milan’s Università cattolica del Sacro Cuore, will speak of "tradition", while sociologist Luca Diotallevi will review the area of "citizenship".
