CHURCH MOVEMENTS: FROM TOMORROW, WORLD MEETING – 300 THOUSAND ON SATURDAY FROM ALL OVER THE WORLD WITH THE POPE

"Movements and new groups are a gift to be welcomed with gratitude and responsibility, not to waste the work of the Holy Spirit that never stops surprising the Church with its creativity and imagination": it was said this morning in the Vatican by mgr. Stanislaw Rylko, president of the Papal Council for the Lay, during the press conference for the presentation of the II World Meeting of Church Movements and New Communities, due in Rocca di Papa, from May 31st to June 2nd, and the meeting, on June 3rd in Saint Peter’s Square, between such movements and the Pope, planned for the afternoon of Saturday June 3rd, the day before Whit Sunday. "The meeting in Rocca di Papa – highlighted mgr. Josef Clemens, secretary of the Papal Council – for logistic reasons has been reduced to just about 300 people, representing over 100 movements and new communities". (to be continued)
