” “"Many baptised adults do not leave the Church because they hold a grudge against us, they do not come because they do not feel equal to it. They feel uncertain about their faith and they do not completely understand what baptism meant to them". As he told his experience during the meeting of the bishops and national managers of the catechesis in Europe, which is in progress in Rome until May 11th, organised by Cei and the by the Council of the European Bishops Conferences (Ccee), about: "Christian initiation as a process to become a Christian", father Clemens Armbruster, parish priest in Freiburg (Germany), presented the "Weg" project ("Journeys of grown-up faith"), developed by teams set up within the parishes. The project starts with a few parish-wide "information events" targeted to "people who live according to faith and wish to convey faith". After setting up the teams, some "workshops on faith" are organised, where the participants receive a sort of "spiritual diary" where they have to write the personal impact of each meeting, which include impromptu speeches, group discussions and liturgical and Gospel-listening events. After the workshops, the adults can attend, for about one year, the regular parish meetings in smaller groups, to gain awareness that "the real experience of Christian faith means looking for communal life". ” “
