The family, based on the indissoluble marriage of man and woman, expresses this relational, filial and community dimension, and is the sphere in which man can be born with dignity, grow and develop as a whole". When a baby is born, "it receives a whole wealth of experience": as to this, "its parents have the inalienable duty and right to transmit it to their children: educating them to discover their own identity, to responsibly assert their moral freedom and their ability to love through the experience of being loved and above all in the encounter with God".
