"Last night, July 16th, the Israelis attacked the harbour that is in front of us and the bombing was terrible. There are no airports or harbours any more, not even the borders with Syria because they have been attacked. They are blocking every area and destroying all the passages between cities. This evidence was given by a Franciscan clergyman from Beirut and has been published by the Custody of the Holy Land which does not mention the man’s name.
