” “"Our commitment for the next six months will be to explain the benefits of workers’ mobility, for them, for the companies and for the EU economy in general": Vladimír pidla, EU Commissioner for Employment and Social Affairs, repeats once again the purposes of the European Year of Workers’ Mobility, which is halfway, and presents the initiatives that will be taken in the second half of 2006. The most outstanding event in this sense is the European Job Show, planned for September 29th and 30th. "Over 250 cities will come to the first Show, which will enable the visitors to get information on the jobs offered by other countries or simply to get to know what job opportunities are available in every industry". Events and shows will be organised in the 25 member states as well as in Bulgaria, Romania, Iceland, Norway and Switzerland.
