They believe in the family, in solidarity as a tool for unity, including unity among peoples, a faith which is often shaked by the positive and negative events that life throws at them. They are engaged in the rediscovery of the common values that have founded Europe, this is the picture of the young Christian who works "for" and "with" the European bodies. About 40 young people, from all of the EU countries, have met in Brussels today, invited by Comece and by the Community of Taizé, to discuss the subject: "Your life is important for Europe". As to their work within the European bodies, the young complain of "a gap between them and the citizen”, which should be filled by working at "the European identity and at the shared values, especially the Christian values”.
