In one web page, all the key indicators of the economic trends for the euro-zone (13 countries) and ll of the European Union: the new online service has been announced today by Eurostat, the EU Statistics Office. "This page supplies to political leaders, analysts, university research workers and to the mass media the basic information explain the managers of Eurostat they need to take decisions, conduct economic surveys or develop research" in this sphere. The selection of such information covers twenty basic indicators, most of which are updated on a yearly or quarterly basis. The page will be updated daily at 11 am and will be accessible at: http://ec.europa.eu/euroindicators. Such information will include the Gross Domestic Product, investment volumes, employment, industrial output, order levels, prices, public deficits and surpluses, interest rates.
