Preoccupation for the evacuees and refugees of Congo, Chad, Darfur, Afghanistan and Iraq was expressed yesterday by Archbishop Celestino Migliore, apostolic nuncio and permanent observer of the Holy See at UNO, during the 62nd session of the General Assembly of the United Nations on the questions concerning exactly refugees and evacuees. "Once again said Msgr. Migliore, we want to draw attention on the sufferings of the Iraqi refugees fleeing from indiscriminate attacks, violence based on religious or political beliefs, or due to being part of specific groups. It is the biggest exodus of people in the last few years". (To be continued)
