"Faith must penetrate everyone’s life and the life of the family go on the Bishops as embodied in all the dimensions of life. Christian parents shall set a good example for their children, offering a testimony of life inspired by the Gospel and ‘fuelled’ by the Sacraments, especially by the Sunday Eucharist". The second distinctive trait is "inclusion in the ecclesial community": "there is no Christian family at the margins of the Church", but, "to achieve such inclusion, the development of the family pastoral is essential", so that the parish communities will be even more of "a family of Christian families". This inclusion of the family in the ecclesial community, warn the Spanish Bishops, "is also accomplished through the family movements, that must help them live well the mystery of ecclesial communion". Only a family who have a strong Christian identity, conclude the bishops, "will be able, at such a difficult time, to transmit faith and to be, in front of people, the bright sign of truth", showing "the goodness and beauty of marriage and the family".
