But, on the other side the Lord knocks with His Cross "on the doors of our hearts, many of which are so often closed to God", speaking more or less like this: "If the proofs that God in Creation gives you of His existence cannot open you up to Him; if the word of the Scriptures and the message of the Church leave you cold, then look up to me, your Lord and your God".
