The schedule alternated ecclesial subjects with topical subjects (such as the Church vis-à-vis the challenge of globalisation and secularisation). Other subjects were closer to the youth world, such as the family, loneliness, sexuality, ecology and the mass media. There was also an event about the participation of the young in the ecumenical movement. The Conference ended last night with the reading of a final document. "We do not want to be thought of as just the future of the Church reads the document while we stay at the margins of the current developments, but we want to make our contribution in the present to what is being done today, to participate energetically in the pastoral and in the communal and liturgical life of the Church".
