This is the introduction to the Multifestival David, an ecclesial event which every summer attracts hundreds of thousands of young artists to Oviedo (Centro Los Cabos), in the North of Spain. During the festival, chat and iPod laboratories take place, together with theology meetings, prayers at the rhythm of rock, Marian songs, competitions and musical prizes, with daily Eucharistic celebrations. The event took place last week, with the participation of Christian groups from Spain as well as Colombia, Peru and the United States. During the current round of the festival, the auxiliary bishop of the diocese of Oviedo, Msgr. Raul Berzosa, proposed the young an "anthropologic decalogue for the use of media", in which he recalls that "new technologies emphasize the present" and "cancel the barrier between the real and the virtual".
