Special initiatives concerned religious literature (4%), and above all, the diffusion of Bibles and catechisms, including "I Believe" and "God Talks To His Children". The latest has been translated and spread since 1978, in about 45 million copies. In 2006, another million copies was carried out, including tenths of thousand of copies translated into seven local languages of India, and in the pidgin language for the Catholics in Papua New Guinea. As for the new languages into which "I Believe" was translated, there was Turkish (10,000 copies were printed and spread). In the areas of serious crisis for the Church, owing to violation of the right to religious freedom by governments or majority religions, ACN intervened through hundreds of projects meant to uphold the Church in China (872,589 euros), Venezuela (212,974 euros), Myanmar (696,351 euros), Cuba (1,075,148 euros), Vietnam (857,001 euros), Turkey (181,956 euros), India (4,421,801 euros), Indonesia (492,735 euros), Iraq (131,629 euros), Nigeria (836,484 euros), and Pakistan (498,637 euros).
