EU: EUROPEAN PARLIAMENT FACES THE GARBAGE EMERGENCY IN CAMPANIA

” “” ” The garbage emergency in Campania arrives in Strasbourg: the news has been officially given in a note by the European Parliament in the run-up to next week’s plenary session (14-17 January). "The heaps of garbage that are spilling out onto the streets of Naples and other municipalities of Campania, the people’s revolts around the dumping sites, the potential health and environmental problems and, last but not least, the feared loss of EU structural funds, will be on the agenda – it reads – of a Parliamentary debate which will be attended by the EU Commission".
