The two priests, goes on the release, were proactively involved in the pastoral work of the Church of Saint Louis of the French, in Moscow. "The Catholic Church in Russia write the bishops of the country has suffered a serious loss. Zealous pastors, much loved by their devotees, have been deprived of their life. The Church prays God the Merciful, that He may receive the souls of the murdered priests Victor and Otto into the dwelling of the just, and may He give them the Kingdom of Heaven. The Church prays for those who committed this terrible crime, may the Lord grant them the grace of repentance. Murder is a serious, horrible sin, and whoever commits it must suffer the right punishment. The Church hopes the Russian justice will be able to find out who committed the crime, and that the court and society will issue an objective juridical and moral judgement of their crimes". Today, 29th October, at 6 pm, in the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception of the Mother of God, in Moscow, the archbishop, Paolo Pezzi, will officiate Mass for the repose of the souls of the two murdered priests.
