The Forum’s slogan is "Walking in the Heights." The main aim is to share the youth ministry work to encourage and sustain vocations to announce the Gospel. Among the goals: analysing the progress made over the last 50 years; understand and share the present situation; find new horizons for the future; encourage the creation of a network of ministry work, life and reflection; identify and support the transforming presence of Christian youth in society. The Forum is addressed to young people from 18 to 35. It will begin on November 7, in the presence of cardinal Antonio María Rouco Varela, Archbishop of Madrid and President of the Spanish Bishops’ Conference, of Mgr José Ignacio Munilla, Bishop of Palencia in charge of the youth ministry within the Spanish Bishops’ Conference, and Jesús María Lecea, General superior of the Piarist Fathers. In this occasion, the Archbishop of Madrid will introduce WYD Madrid 2011.
